Pre-wedding shoot in Bhilai

We live here, so we know which lawns go golden at five and which ones lose the light by four. Half-day and full-day pre-wedding shoots across Bhilai and Durg, planned around the light rather than the calendar.

Plan your shoot

The shoot before the wedding, done properly

A pre-wedding shoot is usually the first time a couple has ever been photographed together properly, and most of the awkwardness comes from being told to pose. We work the other way around. We give you something to do, then photograph what happens.

Being based in Bhilai means we can scout a location on a Tuesday evening and shoot it on Saturday at exactly the hour it looks best. That is harder for a studio driving in from elsewhere, and it shows in the pictures.

Pre-wedding shoot locations around Bhilai and Durg

Some of these need permission arranged in advance. We handle that for you as part of planning the shoot.

Maitri Bagh

Gardens, the lake and the musical fountain. The obvious choice in Bhilai, which means going early to get it without a crowd behind you.

Bhilai Niwas grounds

Old trees, long driveways and colonial-era lines. Formal in a way that suits sarees and sherwanis better than casual outfits.

The sector avenues

Bhilai's tree-lined township roads, empty on a Sunday morning. Underrated, free, and they look like nowhere else in Chhattisgarh.

Industrial Bhilai

Steel, scale and hard edges for couples who want something with grit in it. Access needs arranging, so tell us early if this appeals.

Sirpur

Ancient brick temples and archaeology, a drive out from Durg. Worth the travel for a full-day shoot that needs a proper second act.

The Mahanadi banks

Open water, wide sky and no buildings in frame. Best at sunrise, which means an early start and almost no one else there.

What couples ask us about pre-wedding shoots

How much does a pre-wedding shoot cost in Bhilai?

It depends on half day or full day, how many locations, and whether you want a film alongside the photographs. Tell us roughly what you have in mind and we will send a real number the same day.

Can we scout the location with you first?

Yes, and we would encourage it. We are based in Bhilai, so walking a location together on a weekday evening costs nothing and makes the shoot itself far better.

How many outfits should we bring?

Two is usually right, three if it is a full day. More than that and the day turns into changing clothes instead of being photographed.

We are not comfortable in front of a camera. Is that a problem?

It is the normal starting point, not a problem. The first half hour is always stiff for everyone. We plan for it, and by the end most couples forget we are there.

Not just how it looked — but how it felt, who was there, and everything in between.

Stories of love, family, chaos,

laughter, and everything in between.

We're not just wedding photographers,

We're Story collectors.
